3. User Accounts and Registration

- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- One person may only maintain one account
3.2 Identity Verification

- You must provide valid government-issued identification
- False information may result in account termination
4. User Responsibilities

- Fees are automatically deducted from payments

- Escrow services protect both clients and freelancers
- Payment disputes are handled according to our dispute resolution process
6. Freelancer Terms
6.1 Service Delivery
- Deliver services as described and within agreed timeframes
- Maintain professional standards of quality
- Communicate promptly with clients
- Complete verification requirements when applicable
6.2 Taxes and Legal Compliance
- Freelancers are responsible for their own tax obligations
- Must comply with local business licensing requirements
- Must maintain appropriate insurance where required
7. Client Terms
7.1 Job Posting
- Provide clear and accurate job descriptions
- Set reasonable budgets and timelines
- Respond to freelancer proposals in a timely manner
- Provide necessary materials and information
7.2 Payment Obligations
- Pay for completed work as agreed
- Fund escrow accounts before work begins
- Provide feedback and release payments promptly
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Platform Rights
LaneX Jobs retains all rights to the platform, including design, code, trademarks, and proprietary algorithms.
8.2 User Content
- Users retain ownership of their original content
- Users grant LaneX Jobs license to use content for platform operations
- Users must respect intellectual property rights of others
9. Dispute Resolution
9.1 Internal Resolution
- Users should first attempt to resolve disputes directly
- LaneX Jobs provides mediation services for unresolved disputes
- Dispute resolution decisions are binding
9.2 Legal Action
- Disputes are governed by the laws of Laos
- Legal proceedings must be conducted in Vientiane, Laos
- Arbitration may be required for certain disputes

11. Platform Availability
- We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
- Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance

We may modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Laos. Any legal disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Vientiane, Laos.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
