Work & services
Post work, receive proposals and hire verified providers across dozens of service categories.
LaneX Jobs · Opportunity for everyone
LaneX Jobs connects people, skills, services, mobility, delivery and protected payments in one Lao-first platform.
01Overview
In many cases, work and services in Laos are still arranged through informal channels — word of mouth, chat groups and private transfers. That works, but it makes it hard for either side to assess identity, agree scope, or keep a record of what was paid.
LaneX Jobs was built to answer that. Providers apply and are reviewed before they can earn. Clients see a profile, a rating and reviews before they hire. Once a price is agreed, funds are held by LaneX until the client confirms the work is complete.
It is designed around local realities: Lao as the default language, payouts to Lao bank accounts, and steps described in plain language for people using a digital service for the first time.
Post work, receive proposals and hire verified providers across dozens of service categories.
QuickMatch matches a request on the spot; QuickHire pushes that opportunity to nearby providers.
Ride booking, food delivery from local vendors, and live rider tracking on a map.
Funds are held for the order, released on client confirmation, then withdrawn to a local bank account.
02Company
The platform is built and operated by a team in Khammouane, working in the same market as the people who use it.
Product, support and review sit together in one place — so applications, withdrawal requests and disputes are handled by people who know this market.

Leads LaneX Jobs from Thakhek, Khammouane — where the product, support and review teams all sit together.
We built LaneX Jobs so that skilled people in Laos can earn with dignity — and so that clients can trust that their money and their work are looked after.

01
A provider proves who they are before they can earn — not afterwards.
02
Providers can mark work done. Only the client releases the payment.
03
A single report of a problem stops the money until a person reviews it.
03People
Role is derived from the user’s profile and the interface reconfigures itself. Nobody is forced to navigate tools that do not apply to them.
Browses services or posts a job, compares verified providers, agrees a price in chat, and pays into the protected workflow.
Completes a step-by-step registration with identity documents and a verification selfie, takes work, marks it done, and withdraws earnings to a bank account.
Gets a dedicated delivery tab of ride and delivery jobs. Notified only for the correct vehicle type, and paid tips on delivery.
Gets a store tab for the menu, including drink sizes and per-size pricing. Paid orders arrive as a full-screen ringing prompt.
04Transactions
Every paid order — whether it began as a QuickMatch, a QuickHire or a standard job post — converges on the same workflow.
01
The client browses by category and location, posts a job, or opens a QuickMatch.
02
Both sides talk in chat. The provider sends a payment request with the agreed amount.
03
The client pays by QR. Funds are held by LaneX — not passed directly to the provider.
04
The provider works and marks it done. Only the client can release the payment.
05
The balance lands in the wallet net of fees, can be withdrawn to a bank, and every step is time-stamped.
Either side can report a problem from the order. Filing a dispute freezes settlement immediately — no release can occur until an administrator reviews the case and decides the outcome. Reporting reasons are role-specific, so each side reports from its own perspective.
05Trust
What follows is implemented in the platform today, not a future roadmap.
Providers upload both sides of an identity card plus a selfie holding it. Nobody starts earning until their application is approved.
LaneX holds the funds for the duration of the order. There is no person-to-person payment inside the order workflow.
A provider can only mark work done. Because release is final, the action asks for an explicit confirmation first.
Reporting a problem freezes settlement immediately. No release happens until an administrator resolves the case.
Application submission, review, order movement and wallet activity are all recorded, with receipts either party can open.
Permissions are enforced server-side by role, attachments live in private storage, and reviews are tied to completed orders.
Note: the controls described above are product controls. They are not a claim of certification or licensing by any regulatory body.
06Capabilities
07Language & technology
Lao is not a translation that arrived later. It is the app default, chosen on first launch, and it also governs the language of push notifications.
Lao, English, Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese. Service categories and notifications are composed in the recipient’s chosen language.
Built with Flutter and delivered to iOS, Android and web from one codebase — so features and fixes reach every user together.
Data, authentication, file storage and realtime updates run on Supabase, with managed backups and operations.
Release, settlement and dispute freezes are decided on the server, not in the app — so the outcome does not depend on a device.
Row-level controls restrict what each role can read or write. Identity documents and bank details sit in private storage under restricted access.
Firebase services support web hosting and usage analytics, alongside internal review queues the team uses day to day.
08Impact
These are intentions, not measured outcomes. We will report numbers only once they are measured properly.
Designed to give tradespeople, specialists and service providers a searchable professional profile instead of visibility only inside closed chat groups.
Built so that independent workers can take on more work without depending only on personal referrals.
Designed to give small vendors and providers a menu, orders, notifications and a payment record without building their own systems.
Built to reduce the effort of finding, booking and paying for the services households and businesses already need.
Designed so two people who have never met can transact using verified identity, clear steps and a record they can revisit.
Built so that demand created in Laos is met by people and businesses in Laos, using tools designed around Lao users.
09Platform
Each experience answers a different need, but they share one set of identity, messaging, notification, transaction-state, review and administrative services.
Work & freelance
Clients post work, freelancers send proposals, and the client hires. Every profile carries portfolio work, skills, a rating and reviews earned on completed jobs.
Instant matching
A client picks a service and location and taps find. Nearby providers in that category get an accept-or-reject prompt immediately, wherever they are in the app.
Mobility
Riders are only notified for the correct vehicle type, and clients watch the rider move on a map for the whole trip.
Food & vendors
Vendors manage their own menu, including drink sizes, then take paid orders through a full-screen ringing prompt.
Payments
The money stays with LaneX for the duration of the order. The provider can see it is secured but cannot take it.
Earnings
Earnings land in the LaneX Coin wallet with full history, then withdraw to a Lao bank account.
